Julie Hansen
Julie Hoban Hansen is a Kansas City native. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and is a juried member of the Pastel Society of America. Her work is in private and corporate collections, nationally and internationally.
Julie is inspired by the works of Wolf Kahn, Edgar Degas, and J.M.W. Turner. "I think pastels have great beauty and longevity when framed properly. Many of Edgar Degas’ original pastels are over one hundred and fifty years old and still look crisp and colorful" - Julie Hansen.
